Thai yoga massage is more active than a basic massage. Rooted in yoga, ayurvedic medicine, and buddhist spiritual practice, this unique and complete system combines rhythmic massage, yoga postures, acupressure, energy meridians, gentle twisting, deep stretching, and meditation.
Traditionally, it’s performed on a padded floor mat instead of on a table. The receiver stays fully dressed and no oils are needed. In a session, I use all parts of the body to open energy lines (sin lines) and break-up toxins in the body. This is done by aligning the energies of the body while working on the tendons.
